HARDWARE & USER EXPERIENCE
A Distinct Sensor Platform for Personal Testing
Not every personal breathalyzer needs the same sensor, sampling and connectivity combination. A5 uses planar semiconductor technology rather than the electrochemical fuel cell sensors installed in the K1, H3, H3 Pro and S1.
A5 also has a defined warm-up behavior: normally about 20 seconds, with a longer warm-up potentially required after extended non-use. Communicating this clearly helps retail partners set realistic user expectations.
