BUYING GUIDE

Which Breathalyzer Is Right for Your Project?

Rather than calling any single product the “best breathalyzer” for everyone, Airsense recommends matching each device to the target market and intended use.

01

Want the smallest fuel cell device?

Start with K1. Its compact body, standalone operation and 200 records support a simple personal-use product range.

Explore K1

Explore H3 Pro
04

Need a more extensive professional platform?

S1 combines pump-assisted sampling, 10,000 records, built-in Bluetooth and a replaceable fuel cell sensor.

SENSING TECHNOLOGY

Fuel Cell vs. Semiconductor Breathalyzers

K1, H3, H3 Pro and S1 use electrochemical fuel cell sensing. A5 uses a planar semiconductor sensor. These platforms can differ in selectivity, warm-up requirements, ongoing service needs and the testing experience.

Sensor type alone is not a complete accuracy claim. Sampling, calibration, firmware and test conditions also matter when evaluating a breath alcohol tester.
